Excerpts of the opening ceremony for the "Building Partnerships Between Archives and Indian Communities" conference held at the American Philosophical Society, May 19-21, 2010. The ceremony included a Welcome Song given by Watie Akins (Penobscot), a prayer in Cherokee given by Tom Belt (Cherokee Nation), a Pipe Ceremony given by Larry Aitken (Leech Lake Ojibwe), and a speech given by Chief Glenna Wallace (Eastern Shawnee).
